A lower AzMERIT score doesn’t mean that your child, your school, or our teachers are doing worse. We have raised the bar and increased expectations for what students need to know and be able to do and for what our teachers are teaching. The results from AzMERIT set a new baseline so we can help each and every one of our students succeed.
